Landing Pages
What Is a landing page?
A landing page is the final step of a sales funnel that a potential customer will go through before becoming a paying customer.
These pages are instrumental in a business’s success in selling their products. Without them, they click your ad, and NOTHING happens.
Things To Consider
But you MUST have the right amount.
Have you ever noticed the “Buy Now” button on Amazon?
It’s there because Jeff Bezos recognised that if you have too many landing pages after the point where a customer decides they want to buy, it adds friction to the buying process.
With each extra page, the customer is less likely to complete the transaction.
Now, defining the right setup of landing pages is very nuanced.
For e-commerce businesses like Amazon, less is better.
For a high-ticket coaching programme, a landing page taking you to a long questionnaire and then taking you to a final landing page is often better.
This process makes the customer feel invested and as if the programme is more tailored to their needs. Raising its perceived value, justifying the high price tag.
Imagine you were going to buy magnesium from a supplement website, and they gave you a 30-page questionnaire to fill out.
You would be closing the page, forgetting the name of the website, and never returning.
That’s why we book consultations, so we know exactly how to get extra money flowing into your pockets.
While avoiding the friction that comes with poorly optimised landing pages.
